Kindergarten

And just like that... she's growing up.  I'm feeling so many emotions this week. Big things are happening and changes are going on... She was so happy to get to school today. For sure a little nervous but she's a very happy and confident girl, i know she's going to do awesome and excel at everything put in front of her. Can't believe this day has arrived. I remember that moment i found out she was growing so snug inside my belly. As my due date came closer, i didn't want her to come out into this big crazy world because i felt i wouldn't be able to protect her once she was out of the protection of my tummy... well, I'm feeling that again today. She's going out into the world and she's going to be learning things that I'm not teaching her... and out in the open where she will have to stand on her feet and show what she's been taught in her short life... She's so smart and amazing, i know she will be doing big wonderful things...but i'm her mama.... I will be worried constantly and shed tears at every big moment in her life... ok, i need tissue...
She's ready, I'm not.

Pioneer Day

We celebrated Pioneer Day on Saturday at our church. We dressed in costume and the girls had so much fun! We had dinner and they had a ton of different Dutch oven desserts. They had a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and hair feathers. It was a great time!
And yes, regan would end up with the crazy pony... Unless she was pulling its hair...

Grandma's Here!

So, grandma flew into town yesterday and kiera had NO idea! We drove to the airport to pick her up.  It was so fun watching kiera look at grandma...look away...look at grandma and mentally go... Oh wait...  And then say "Hi Grandma!!!"  Haha. We went directly to Downtown Disney, Rainforest Cafe, and then took advantage of free slurpee day! Then home for kiera and grandma to snuggle and take a long nap while Ryan made dinner. (Pork chops and spaetzle). Then this morning we headed down to, where else... The beach!  We buried dad in the sand, found sand crabs, shells, rocks, and ran around having fun and soaking up some sun! We love having grandma here visiting! This is going to be a fun week!

Primary

This last Sunday, Kiera gave a talk in Primary. Her topic was 'Families are Part of Heavenly Father's Plan'. This is the second talk she has given. Ryan helps her by typing what she would like to say and putting a picture next to it to help her remember... It always amazes me how awesome she is. Writes the talk herself and does a pretty good job delivering it. So proud of my princess!!

4th of July!

So every Fourth of July we start the day by going to our ward pancake breakfast and than to Joes Italian Ice after. This morning we did just that! The park was so fun, it always is but now it's even better since we've gotten to know more people in the ward. We also took Layla, which I was against because she's crazy... But I have to admit, she did so good. She loves people. She's nervous at first meeting strangers but warms up really quick. She has also loved going to the dog park recently.  After we left the park we went on over to Joe's. It's sooooo good! I got a joe latti, which is soft serve on top of Italian ice. Watermelon and almond joy were my poison today. Ryan got just Italian ice (grape and lemon lime... To die for) and Kiera got blue raspberry and lemon lime (Italian ice only).  We love this place! Regan was asleep so she missed out but we got her a soft serve cone on the way home and that was enough for her! Not sure what we're up to for the rest of the day. Most likely BBQ  and swimming. Today's been awesome. I will add though, I miss the Provo parade. Don't miss the heat and crowds though.

Church

Regan loves church. She loves sacrament, loves nursery, loves snack time...  Hard to tell by looking...
This was last sunday... hair a mess, summer dress, scraped knee, and a bowl of popcorn... yes, a bowl of fresh popped popcorn i whipped up on the way out the door... Straight up. What a lunch, mom of the year here!

And this was today. Out. Slept through the first 2 hours and made it to nursery just in time for snack.
One o'clock church is a killer.

Beach

We went to the beach this week to kick off the beginning of summer. The girls LOVE the beach! I love relaxing to the sound of the waves and the laughter of my girls as they run around playing. They both love the sand, water, shells, and occasional sand crab we happen to catch... I'm so happy to live so close to the beach and be able to share this beautiful place with my girls.
